I'm having issues with recording of calls using G729. When I make calls using IAX2 one half of the conversation (the called party) sounds garbled or underwater. When I use SIP the called party sounds fine but my voice sounds like it is speeded up. My provider says its a timing issue.

What I have tried so far:
1) I have tried using internal-timing=yes in Asterisk.conf and have disabled all timing sources except for DAHDI based on another suggestion in the forum.
2) I have changed my allow=g729 to allow=g729:60

Any other suggestions? I'm getting this issue with all my boxes that use Asterisk/PIAF
